Thanks so much to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Holmdel, for its very generous donation of $1,000. Gil and Patricia Vatter presented the check to Doreen Minutella and Nancy Mester, Co-Directors of the Kitchen at St. Mark's, on January 31. (See the picture in our Slide Show!)
5% Day at Whole Foods
Our sincere thanks to Whole Foods in Middletown, which donated 5% of its net sales on January 10 to our lunch program.
Christmas Party
We had a great Christmas party in Keyport on December 21. Although we didn't open officially until February 11, we didn't want the kids to miss our annual party. Santa was a big hit with the kids. Thanks to our elves and especially to Christy Langston Barber for all her hard work in collecting toys and PJs, and to all those who donated. The kids really needed it this year.
