The Bayshore Family Success Center provides individuals and families in the Bayshore area with resources and support and enriches the lives of children and parents by making families and neighborhoods stronger. We are pleased to welcome a representative from this organization every Friday to offer their services to our guests.
Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on July 20 for the new KMFP building, which will be right next to the fellowship hall where our Lunch Program operates. Congratulations to all those who worked incredibly hard for the last 10 years to plan and raise the money for this building, which will help the Pantry serve its ever-growing number of clients. We're looking forward to being your neighbor!
Sandy Relief Workers
It was our honor to serve lunch to many of the Sandy work crews this past summer. These remarkable youth and adults traveled from all parts of the country to help restore homes in the Bayshore area impacted by Hurricane Sandy. We usually serve 45-50 folks from the community, but with the workers there were days when we served about 80-120 people. After a break in September, we are now getting ready to serve more Sandy workers in late October and early November.
